Get the CVS snapshot and the cs110_0.4.tar.gz patch. When I compiled it I used the KINCLUDE option described in the docs. You will probably need to insmod videodev before insmodding spca50x. The video device (at least on my machine) was /dev/video0, not /dev/video. Worked nicely with gqcam.
